It's been a little while...

I have been a bit absent lately from this blog (although not this website!). But there is a reason, well, quite a lot of reasons really, and I plan to be back very soon.

The first is that I am expecting our second child in March, which is very exciting. James just turned 2, and I'm sure he will just love a sibling. But with pregnancy comes a bit of hibernation. So I couldn't keep up with a regular schedule here, especially in the first trimester.

The addition of a second child will have many business impacts, and I am very busy behind the scenes setting myself and my business up in a way that I can continue to do what I love (this!) in a calm and manageable way when the time comes.

The second reason is that I have a few projects (personal and professional) that, in a practical sense, need to be ticked off the list before March. It is hard to predict what life with a newborn will be like, each little personality is different, and I don't want to be caught out. I want to give myself some time without anything hanging over my head. As these jobs progress, I will share a few with you here, but for now, I am just busy working away.

And finally, another thing I need to tick off the list is getting my website design just right. There were a few things I wasn't completely happy with, so over the next few weeks you'll probably notice a few small changes going on. Mainly visual, but also some content adjustments. All to make the user experience (your experience!) better, and to make my life easier.

As you can tell, there's a lot going on behind the scenes, so I hope you'll excuse my occasional absence during this period. I'll be back when I can. I have a lot planned!

In the meantime, I'd love to see you over on Instagram if you'd like more regular updates.
